This was something I've wanted to put together for a long time but was always working on other things. There were a few scattered instrumental songs I recorded over the years but nothing materialized. Until I eventually took a break from writing and began fooling around with different instruments i.e. keyboards, synth pads, E-bow / feedback to create darker soundscapes. Instrumental music has always fascinated me, in how it allows the listener to paint visual images in the mind and transport you to other realms deep within. "Nocturnes" is my approach to that. I hope it's a good listen for anyone who enjoys atmospheric and ethereal music for meditating or drifting off into sonic oblivion.
